Sports Day!

I want to tell everything about Sports Day, but, well, it will take time so I guess I have to keep it simple. Heheheheh SPORTS DAY! *clap hands*

This year Sports Day was held in February 17th in Sport Centre. As usual, Sports Day is really great and fun and enjoyable! Lots of games were played. Every students must have 2-3 games each. At first I was disappointed because last year we played all games, but at the D-day I realized that 3 games were enough. I felt tired every 1 game, but it was fun as I told you.

So here is the picture of Fellingga and some other students from Yellow team. Shuffling!

Sack race from my team! Yeah!

Bakiak from Green team

Bang Yohannes, can you see how enthusiastic AND powerful your action was? Hehehe

The pictures above were some quick reviews on Sports Day. The games I remember until now are Sack race, Sponge relay, and bakiak. Once again, IT WAS FUN and such a precious moment. Oh, the winner this year is Red Team (which is my team). Unfortunately, the winner wasn't announced on Friday, but on Monday morning because it was hot that afternoon and we had limited time. Hopefully in Sports Day 2013 we can get this memorable and enjoyable activity like the ones we had this year! Sports Day jjang!

Last picture, my 2 partners "in crime". RED TEAM!

FYI: The pictures above are not mine, they are belonged to Mr. Joseph and Jayanti. Sorry for no personal credit in the picture :')

A Reflection on Science Activity: Dealing with Molecules Models

At Wednesday, February 15th 2012, we were dealing with models. TADAAAA!
Having a lesson with some "balls" is quite interesting for me, you know, exploring those models, making random elements out of it. This was very disappointing of me (I reflected!) that I only made elements which are very simple and already stated in the book.

(Picture taken by Shevalda)

Shevalda is one of my friends who really has that full concentration and good scientific attitudes (remember from grade 7?) in doing this activity. It is shown by her element. I forgot what it is, though, but she really explored 'something', and then searched for the figure in the internet. The result is, she found an element which is not stated in the book. Yep, she found it by herself!

So, in this exploration in Science, I learnt that not all atomic models can be paired together. Like for example, Oxygen has 2 holes, so we have to pair it with another 2 atomic balls! Umm, sorry I'm not very good at explaining Science, but I hope it's enough to explain how fun and useful the activity was :)

FYI: The picture above is taken by Shevalda, and it is my figure, H20 (water). See how simple my figure is? Next time if we have another activity like this, I promise I'll improve!

A Reflection on Art Projects

Hello! These past 2 months we've been working on some Art projects. Our school was having some big celebration, like Chinese New Year Assembly as I could tell. Well, we were doing some projects using recycle materials (so sad I couldn't take pictures... no need to know why.) It was lot of fun! Working on some CDs, spray paint, writing Chinese alphabets. I don't know what to call it, and plus I didn't make one. It's so hard for me to write, I was afraid I'd messed it up.

Anyway, I learnt lot of things. Before, I really did not know how to make a hole in the middle part of the CD. Seriously. I thought we would work using saw or some other sharp equipment. But thank God there was a thing that has flame. I don't really know how to call that stuff! *oops.

I discover that we really have to do Art projects with confidence! Or else, the result won't be great as what you have expected :)

p.s: Sorry for no picture. I really don't have the picture for this project.
